What prompted you to seek care in our office?

    My first meeting with Dr. Haven was very informative; he even gave me a book to read. He explained what had happened to my hip/ back to cause the pain and laid out a course of treatment that he felt would give me the relief I was looking for. Over the next 4 weeks I was treated 3 times per week. Even though at times the massages and adjustments were somewhat painful, I could feel steady improvement and looked forward to my next appointment. Happily I can report that after 4 weeks of treatment I walk, stand, and can sit with absolutely no pain.

    The wonderful doctors, Dr. Haven and Dr. Most, and massage therapist Katie care for me in a most skilled manner. Every time I enter the office I am greeted warmly and professionally by the office staff that has always been extremely considerate in scheduling my appointments around the demands of my job. I will continue to visit Main Strret Chiropractic so as to continue my new-found "pain free" life.

What prompted you to seek care in our office?

    My husband was under treatment for low back pain and stiffness and was getting good results. One of the doctors mentioned that my posture was not in proper alignment and that I may need the care as much as my husband does.

   How was your experience in our office?

    I did notice in photographs that my head was always bent to the right. I also had headaches every day and was so used to them that I thought it was normal for me to have them. After 3 weeks of treatment, I no longer have headaches and I notice that my head appears to be straight and not bent over anymore. I just can not believe it, because I was so used to having those headaches and now I don't wake up with headaches anymore!

What prompted you to seek care in our office?

    Following a sports injury to my right shoulder, my physician advised me to undergo physical therapy. I underwent physical therapy for 8 months and the functioning of the right shoulder improved. I reached a point where the shoulder could not be improved any further by physical therapy. I still had pain which prevented me from performing numerous activities. I researched my medical condition and I decided that my condition could be improved and possibly healed if I received chiropractic and massage.

How was your experience in our office?

    After receiving professional services from Main Street Health Center my injury improved rapidly and within a short period of time I was able to return to most of my normal activities.  I am continuing the healing process with chiropractic and massage therapy. I choose to receive Chiropractic services from Main Street Health Center because of local and physician recommendations and the healing facilities that are available. Main Street Health Center has a full staff of professionals to treat their patients.

   The services I have received at MSHC were very professional. All of the professional and administrative staff were very helpful, efficient, friendly and knowledgeable. I am now back to normal activities. They consistently looked for new ways to improve my medical condition. I am very pleased and appreciate their efforts in restoring my physical health.

What prompted you to seek care in our office?

    I woke up April 17th barely able to get out of bed. I had severe pain in my back and left leg. My left leg was also numb. I tried advil and some exercise but neither worked. I couldn't sit for any length of time. The only way I was comfortable was lying down or standing up. I finally went to my family doctor on April 23rd. He gave me some medication and back exercises to do. Things didn't get better in fact they got worse.

    On March 31 I was sent for an MRI. It showed that I have a bone spur on the on the inside of my L4-L5 vertebra area and it was irritating my spinal cord. I also had a slightly bulging disc and some arthritis. I was referred to an orthopedic surgeon.

    On May 5th I saw the surgeon. He said that the spur should be removed and that it's no big deal he does it all the time. Well it was a big deal to me- back surgery close to my spinal cord- I don't think so- I needed a second opinion.

    On May 10 I saw a spine specialist. He agreed that I had a spur and yes he thought surgery was needed. His reccomendation was to fuse the vertebra together so the spur wouldn't move around. He didn't want to do it yet as he felt I was too young (age 52). He suggested I try physical therapy first. I asked if a good chiropractor would help. The doctor said the key word there was 'good'. He said I could give it a try. So I went to the phone book and found Main Street Health Center.

    How was your experience in our office?

      On May 12, armed with my doctor's reports and MRI, I saw Dr. Most. He took an x-ray of his own as well. We discussed my problem and what he felt he could do for me. I was really pleased with the time he spent with me on that first visit. Dr. Most did a stretching adjustment and wanted to see me every 2 days for treatments. I already felt a little better by the first adjustment. By the third visit I was pain free! WOW! I continued seeing Dr. Most several times a week through August. I wrote a letter to the spine specialist telling him that I didn't just find a good chiropractor- I found a great chiropractor and I hoped that I would never need his services for surgery

     I am happy that I have not had any back problems since then. I get adjusted on a regular basis to stay healthy. I have told this story to everyone I know and advised them all to go to Main Street Health Center even if they don't have any major problems.

What prompted you to seek care in our office?

   After years of suffering from severe headaches and trigeminal neuralgia, I was desperate for relief. I had tried prescription drugs and had even considered brain surgery. I had never had chiropractic care but was willing to try something other than more drugs and especially surgery. 

How was your experience in our office?

    I saw a small improvement after the first treatment with Dr. Most. Each adjustment brought more improvement and fewer headaches. My quality of life has greatly improved thanks to Dr. Most and his staff.
